Job Title: Recruitment Consultant (Environmental Sector)

Location: Hybrid – Office Hatton, Warwick (3 days) / Home based (1 days)

Hours: Flexible working hours – Role is part time 28 hours per week which can be worked across 5 days or 4 days. (3 will be in the office at Hatton)

Salary: £22,750 FTE (£18,200 pro rata equivalent) + Bonus Structure

Job Summary: We are looking for a passionate and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our team specialising in environmental recruitment. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn about the recruitment process while focusing on sustainable industries such as renewable energy, waste management, ecology, ground investigation and environmental consultancy. You will work alongside our experienced team to help connect qualified candidates with employers committed to environmental compliance and sustainability practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing and attracting candidates for roles within the environmental sector using job boards, social media, internal resources and networking platforms.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and candidates
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews to evaluate their skills and alignment with client requirements in the environmental space.
  • Maintain an organized database of candidates and job vacancies, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with senior consultants to understand client needs and tailor recruitment strategies accordingly.
  • Help prepare job advertisements that highlight key responsibilities and benefits related to environmental positions.
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to develop knowledge of the environmental sector and effective recruitment practices.
  • Provide administrative support throughout the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews and following up with candidates and clients.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and candidates, delivering exceptional service and support.

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to the dynamic nature of recruitment.
