The role is to be based in their North East Office in Newcastle and will support and advice the internal and external client across the region. The client base is varied across, developers, industrial, commercial and local authority clients, not just housing projects. As a senior consultant you will have extensive experience within a similar role with both technical expertise and excellent client facing skills. As a Senior you will be involved predominately in the production of quality reports to the expected standard. This will be supplemented by mentoring and development of the team of existing consultants and technicians. The level of experience can range from a candidate looking to take the next step to senior level (4yrs+) or an experienced senior / principal professional (8yrs+), all applications will be considered on merit and what attributes they can bring to the business stream.
key day to day activities will be:
You will have a strong academic background in a Civil Engineering and / or Environmental degree ideally with post graduate qualifications in specialist environmental subjects. You will have had previous experience leading geoenvironmental studies from inception through to completion exceeding daily targets and staying within project budget. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for regular client liaison and technical report writing.
